Being raised by a force of nature, the late Rosemary Dodd, I was fortunate to benefit from rewards passed on to a younger generation. I was one of the first students at Lakeview Academy, and I grew up dancing at Gainesville Ballet where I was the youngest student and a Charter Member. A Gainesville High graduate, I eventually went to Brenau University and attained a BFA in Ballet Pedagogy and Performance. Upon graduation, I founded and owned the Dalton School of Ballet and Company. After 8 successful years, I returned to Gainesville, and in 2003 I obtained my real estate license and went on to serve as president of the Hall County Board of Realtors and later was named Realtor of the year. I currently sell Real Estate with the Norton Agency. I’ve been married to David for 20 years, we enjoy our friends, family, and grandchildren. I am thrilled to be dancing in DFC where it is my pleasure and honor to give back to this community that has been so kind and generous to David and me. I am grateful to have the opportunity to “pay it forward” by participating in this worthy cause.
