$22,620 towards $25,000

I last performed (attempted?) a choreographed dance while playing “Stewpot” in my high school’s production of “South Pacific.” Dancing for a Cause has given me more than enough reason to dust off my dancing shoes and give it another go! I am relatively new to Hall County, having spent most of my youth and young adult years in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating from Georgetown College and Baptist Seminary of Kentucky, I pastored churches in and around my hometown before leaving the Bluegrass State to pastor a congregation in South Georgia. After a brief stint in North Carolina, I returned to Georgia to become the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Gainesville. My wife (Valarie), daughters (Maggie & Macy), and I are grateful to have been welcomed so warmly into the Hall County community. We love the beauty of this region and the exciting growth in our city. I am excited to join with other celebrity dancers to support the work of Center Point, Rape Response and Alliance for Literacy. In the words of Kevin Bacon,

“Let’s dance!”
